Where Does The Love Go?

Have you remembered how you and your partner first set an eye for each other? What was the feeling like? I suppose it was a feeling that almost got you choked, grasping for words to explain what the feeling was and analyzing why you acted the way you did during your first meeting. It was initially all about gauging and playing "hide and seek" for what is real and what is not. Are the feelings valid? Does he/she worth your time? Should you go with the flow and pretend that you're plainly innocent and vulnerable just to validate what the true intention is? These are just some of the thoughts that go through your mind. If you grasped for words to define what you truly feel then that must be love. Besides, you never really needed words to explain what it was, because love cannot be explained. It is simply felt, and it rides onto so many emotions which most of the time confuses you. Yes it does become confusing always!

As the relationship progresses, both of you tend to be more cautious about each other's space. Up to what extent you think imposing restrictions will be tolerable for the both of you? Most of the time one of you will think that being in a relationship means having to keep up with each other's needs and will consider the relationship to be of valuable possession. Another person will think of it as a commitment and partnership that needs to be nurtured and polished amidst the problems that may come along the way. Problems should always be sorted out and resolved so each of you can move forward.

So why do relationships always have to experience trials and possibly separation? Does happiness really play a big part in deciding whether to leave or not? How do you define happiness anyway? If you have a clear picture of what happiness means to you and how it should be achieved then why give up and run from something that gave you happiness in the first place? Besides, happiness is just a state of mind and its meaning to you constantly changes. I personally think that the common reason why couples separate ways is because they RAN out of reasons to stay together and that is because one of them failed to establish what those reasons are, and the other person got tired of implying the obvious reasons which the other party failed to acknowledge. Now, you get this feeling of being neglected and your efforts having been taken for granted. This circumstance is an appalling feeling which creates insecurities to your part. And leaving was your only escape from not having to experience these insecurities over and over again, which is the last place you would be in. However, some people choose to stay in a relationship despite the fact that they are vigorously struggling to achieve contentment and happiness, because they think that a committed relationship revolves around commitment and you have this principle that love is just second to respect, and you value the companionship more than anything else. Is there love left at this point? - I believe there is little to none. You just got to pull in and emphasize the reasons why you still stick together and hold on to that. Maybe a streak of light will ignite a whole new flame again....

Do you love the person because he/she loves you? Do you love the person because you simply do for no particular reasons? Do you love the person because you're confident that your love can be reciprocated? No matter what the circumstances are, love always goes. Where does the love go? We'll never know, but one thing is for sure it will come again in due time. You just have to wait and at the same time keep on finding it..........

Iloilo City is considered as one of the major centers for education in the Island of Panay and is packed with top of the class nursing schools. As a matter of fact, a lot of individuals from nearby provinces would come to Iloilo just to avail their Nursing education here. There are several universities here in Iloilo that made it to the top 20 nursing schools released by the Commission on Higher Education. It is based on the school’s performance on the past Nursing Licensure Exams. A Multi-billion Project that will Spike Up Iloilo's Economy

With the down fall of global economy I am greatly enamored by the fact that the Megaworld Corporation is on its way to increase the economy of Iloilo City even more. As the development of the Iloilo Business Park that is headed by the Megaworld Corp. starts, new job opportunities and businesses will come into picture. This will create a sharp spike the city’s development and tourism.

The Megaworld Corp. won the bidding for the said area against two other bidders and bought the area for P1.2 billion in 2007. Since the Megaworld Corp. has purchased the 54 hectare old airport lot in Mandurriao, a lot of clearing of old residential houses has been made in the said area. After adequate planning and polishing of designs, the Megaworld Corp has its groundbreaking scheduled on May 6, 2011 on the 54 hectare lot.  This was announced in last March 31, in Amigo Terrace Hotel. They estimated an amount of 20 billion for the development of this piece of land turning it into a business park that will consist of a hotel, a hospital, condominiums, recreational facilities, a theme park, commercial centers, skills and training center and a lot more. This is probably the biggest development project ever in the history of Iloilo.

A lot of changes will take place in the area. The old airport will be gone and will be replaced by infrastructures that generate business and commerce for Iloilo. This is quite enthralling for the Ilonggos. The airport’s runway will be transformed into an eight lane highway that will be the new route of jeepneys and taxis. Projects on the restoration and development of the Iloilo River are also included. A lot of eco friendly infrastructures that will be the center of leisure activities.

                                             Iloilo Old Airport

These developments do not only help the economy of Iloilo City but also complements the city’s vision of a pristine city in 2015. As I see the Megaworld develop the Iloilo business Park, I have no doubt that in the coming years the Iloilo will become more productive and efficient city with more jobs to offer, buzzing with life.

Aliwan Fiesta 2011: Dinagyang ended up as the best festival in the country.

For those people who have not been updated about national tourism events and festivals competitions, Iloilo Dinagyang contingents took the major prices during the "Aliwan Fiesta 2010". Remembering last year competition results were favorable to Dinagyang Festival as they had been declared as the Aliwan Fiesta 2010 champion and Tribu Kasag of Banate, Iloilo took the third place subsequently.

This year, Iloilo Dinagyang has dominated Aliwan Fiesta 2011 once more as Tribu Pan-ay has recently been declared as Aliwan Fiesta 2011 Street dance champion and another contingent from Iloilo Dinagyang Kasadyahan winner - Tribu Pantat of Zarraga, Iloilo got the second place.

This year's performances of Tribu Pan-ay and Tribu Kasag in Aliwan stood out to be the most well choreographed and most impressive amongst all festival contingents in the country. As i watched the quick, continuous and stamina challenging dance routines along with the synchronicity of music and props, I felt goosebumps watching the performances of Dinagyang tribes.

I think there were several factors why Dinagyang festival had impact on the audience and judges. The festival clearly executes energetic, festive dance moves. The music played an important role in engaging people which Dinagyang is known for(great drum beats) . It catches attention along with beautiful handmade arts and crafts that were being displayed and I think people just love watching colorful and grand production perrformances with loud melodious sound of the drums. These are the things Dinagyang excel at. Another honor has been brought to Iloilo City. I can't wait for more Dinagyang Festival scenes soon.

Iloilo City: "Premiere City by 2015". Achievable or Not?

As a constituent of Iloilo City, I only want the best for my city as it directly affects our lives in so many factors, I often hear local government leaders talk about gearing up the city's aim to become a "Premiere City by 2015". Based on what I have seen personally, the city's economy has drastically become robust with private-public partnerships in the last seven years. The local government really seeks its way to come and sit down with private sectors to talk what improvements they could provide to Iloilo City as a whole.

Iloilo City is the top destination of students from all over Panay to be studying in college. Even some people from Mindanao and Central Visayas go here for educational purposes. We have a robust educational system and institutions that have been solid for years already and because of this, Iloilo City can become one of the top investment destinations for foreign and local investors. Our schools produce thousands of graduates from the Hospitality, Information Technology and Healthcare fields which are the booming industries at the present time.

When I get the chance to roam around Iloilo City and seeing these newly built establishments, It's totally different 13 years ago. I remember that during my high school days, Gaisano City and SM Delgado malls were the only establishments that most people went to during that time. As the years went by, another SM mall had been built in Diversion Road and a few other SM supermarkets had stood all over Iloilo and Robinson's Place also had been operational then. Where can you find a city outside metro manila that has five SM branches? Only in Iloilo, right? This only means that Iloilo has a progressive economy.

Iloilo as a very laid back place a few years back slowly became a busy metro. The hang out spots in Smallville Complex made the city more interesting for tourists and travelers. In my opinion, every person who would like to come here in Iloilo would think these two things: How does Iloilo look like and What are the things we can do in Iloilo? I would like the city to be Eco-friendly advocate by putting emphasis on coastal cleanliness specifically in Villa area and at the same time to put up zoning places for both daylight and night activities such parks and inland resorts or for simply beautifying the roads, public landmarks and boulevards. I know for sure, rarely do we find these in Iloilo, correct? Good thing, that the city government is really serious in investing projects for the Trenas Boulevard as more and more people come to the place and indulge themselves in recreational activities such as exercise, unwinding up by just simply walking through the boulevard and I could even see dancing sessions going on there which is truly refreshing to see.

If you are aware of the things that are going on within the city, you may think that everything is slowly but surely falling into places. The Coal Fired Power Plant has already been operational to accommodate the city's power needs. The aim of the local government to take over Metro Iloilo Water District's operation to provide solution for the poor water service within the metro. The long wait for MegaWorld Holdings construction at the old airport in Mandurriao has finally ended as it already started it's minor construction initiatives at the site. The multi-billion worth project is something that people should really watch out for as it will provide thousands of jobs to Ilonggos and even people from other regions. News states lately about Iloilo airport to accommodate direct international flights. After putting these pieces together in mind, I am confident and still crossing my fingers that Iloilo will indeed be a "Premiere City by 2015".

What do you think? I'd greatly appreciate your opinion so please comment below.

All about ME

Hello guys! My name is Vince, a deep natured person who is passionate about helping others. I value my visitors like how I value my life. So be my guest and we'll be sharing tons of information and great friendship.

I embrace peace, vanity, wellness, fun and learning. As much as I would want to explore what life has to offer me, I could only do less. Before coming up with this blog, I have come to think that I am one heck of a dreamer. I have been aiming to reach out to as much people as possible in any way I can. I would like myself to be able to connect, share ideas with them and  be their virtual friend.

I am a thinker and always travel to other places by way of research and imagination. I have been to several places outside my region and what interests me is that there's always distinction to each places that makes you like it or otherwise. Be it meeting new people, tasting different delicacies, seeing landscapes, experiencing different cultures or indulging yourself to outdoor activities a certain place has to offer, for me it all comes down to one thing - making one self happy.

Happiness can come from different sources. Doing our interests makes us happy. I am particularly interested in self improvement, food, health, travel and even Astrology just to name a few. Another thing that makes me happy is when I make my way through helping those who need it the most. I am not a "Billionaire" to be making those needy people's lives comfortable but I know for sure I have a good heart for being compassionate with them. I can be their voice and so are you too.

This is just an excerpt of who I really am and this will help you understand why I made this blog and for you to know where I am coming from. I just hope you will find the rest of information in here useful. I wouldn't be posting anything crappy anyway.

Watch out for more interesting articles and stories soon. See ya'll!
